Tottenham ready to make controversial move for Arsenal legend

Tottenham are preparing a move for Inter Milan midfielder Patrick Vieira. The former Arsenal captain has been strongly linked with a move back to England in recent weeks after falling out of favour at the San Siro. contreversal
Inter boss Jose Mourinho has told Vieira he can leave and Spurs boss Harry Redknapp is keen to offer the 33-year old the chance to move back to the Premier League.
Redknapp is desperate to add another midfield player to the ranks at White Hart Lane after missing out on Gareth Barry earlier this summer. Vieira is willing to take a wage-cut to secure the move back to North London, a place where he spent many glorious years in the red and white of Arsenal.
Regardless of his history, I feel Vieira would be a very decent acquisition for Spurs, considering the fact he can be bought on a free transfer. I’m interested to see what you Spurs, and indeed Arsenal fans think about the possibility of Vieira moving to White Hart Lane.

right mate i am not sure about this they guy played ten games last season , and we could play 50-60 so where is the sense in that , i dont mind that he was a gunner but ,why are we buying someone who is old and past it , it makes no sense, harry needs the backing and money from the chairman and that cunt aint pulling the strings, sign the real madrid players even if they cost more , oh who cares anymore harry doesnt want to challenge the top 4 anyways another rubbish season no europe,

We spuds don’t need anyone like Vieira. We aren’t good enough and never will be. And hell is Vieira comin to white hart lane. Arsenal is and will always be better than spurs… because we are true losers.

As long as he’s on a free and willing to take a hack in wages what’s the worry? Yes, he’s old but I see this as a win-win situation.
