Three words to sum up Kolo Toure
Posted by Cathal Breathnach on July 29, 2009 | 43 Comments
So Kolo Toure has finally left Arsenal after eight years with the North London club to join Manchester City.
The Ivory Coast completed his £16 million move to Eastlands after signing a four-year contract with the world’s richest club.
As we usually do when there is a big transfer in the world of football, we at Football Corner would like you to sum up Toure in just three words. Whenever we do the ‘three words to sum up’ feature we seem to always get a massive response so I would love if we could get that once again.
To tell me your three words, just leave a comment below.
My three words : not that good.

A very nice kid.
In his time he was a honest grafter with power and pace. However, for the last 18 months he’s been poor to say the least.
Arsenal needs change and getting shut of the African element is part of the way forward for the club.
Adebayor was lazy and mercenrary, Kolo had just had his time.
Hopefully Eboue’s the next out of the door.

I’m actually a Man City fan. I just don’t think he’s that good. I feel the likes of Richards, Onouha and Dunne are as good as Toure!

I am a Walsall supporter. The likes of Man City are ruining English football. Hope Arsenal win the prem and City relegated.

nice but overrated
I’ll miss Toure and wish him the very best of luck at City but feel Arsenal got the best years from him and he’s not been the same player since the last African Nations. He would have been behind Gallas, Djourou & Vermaelen for a starting place this season although as CathalBreathnach says he is not guranteed a starting place for City as they have some decent defenders.

I am a man city fan and I think walsall have a long way to go before they contribute anything to football

Man City today has signed a Bobby Charlton for £300 million pounds with his wages set for £300,000 a day in pursuit of beating Man United, so they can display another banner welcoming him to Manchester.
