Three words to sum up Manchester City
Posted by Cathal Breathnach on August 14, 2009 | 63 Comments
Everton boss David Moyes only needed one word to sum up Manchester City today. “Disgusting.”
After weeks of chasing Joleon Lescott, many people have critisced City for their lack of respect when persuing their transfer targets.
I am keen to hear what you, the readers, have to say about Manchester City. Whenever we do the ‘Thee words to sum up” feature we always seem to get a really good response so I hope we can get that again.
Please tell me your three words by leaving a comment below. Make them funny.

It’s City’s Time.
In the spirit of reconcilliation, I hope too, that Everton find themselves a rich benefactor. Although not one with 565 bil in their back pockets.

Dave@Shepton….£565billion? No way! It’s £700billion….and thats just the sheik’s personal wealth…not the whole consortium.
And all you bitter, jealous fans of Everton, Liverpool, yernited, and everyone else spitting thier bile.. We stuck with City through thin and thinner, relegations and false dawns, and this is our patience rewarded….and there isn’t ONE of you who wouldn’t be happy to get the investment we have got. We got lucky, yeah, and we will enjoy every last minute of it. And if it all goes one day, so be it, but WE, the supporters will still stick with the club. And those saying remember Leeds….get a grip…totally different thing with ADUG…if they walk away, we are left debt free…hear that Glazers? Probably not…can’t hrear for the sound of creditors hammering at the doors of OT….
Rant over….have a good season y’all…we will, whatever happens ; )

Well said Blue Order.
Nathan. You just gave away all of your clubs ambition. “5th place is ours” Is that what you are aiming for. Why not 4th or 1st or somewhere in between. No wonder Lescott wants to leave. Fancy selling Arteta as well.

Breaking News: Sparky has inquired about Jack Charlton for £600 million pounds and offered him £100 million a week in desperation to win the premier league, also considering buying the referees and the FA just to say WE WON THE PREMIER – good on ya Sparky is it THAT IMPORTANT now football as stopped being a sport.
August 14th, 2009 @ 5:26 pm
Buying the refs and FA…..Hmm, he better get advice of Ferguscum about that uh? Yernited been doing it for years…
August 14th, 2009 @ 5:28 pm
cant you feel the warmth emitting from this blog ? now come on everton fans ? i wonder what you would be like with all this dosh ?(as in your manager….as for him saying he does not do his washing in public ,then how did the news leak out in the first place eh ? dont get me wrong i can understand the frustration felt by numerous managers outside of city ,but as far as i know its a bad ting to keep someone once they have admitted they want to leave which is the bottom line..so stop spitting yer dummies out(name calling and all that stuff its sad) and look in awe as the rest of the division is doing at what is happening over at eastlands (me included) where we will finish who knows? but exciting times ahead.wether its this season or the next or the one after..but its close and you know it.

The friendly Teacher.
My friend, the game stopped being a sport donkey’s years ago. From the moment the first ticket, first scarf, programme, rattle etc was sold, it has been about money. Those with money, whilst not always succeeding, give themselves a damn sight better chance.
I have no grudge against Everton and in the long run wish them well and hope you find your Billionniare. But how you see football now is how it has been since probably the time when City were forced to sell their squad before WW1 because they paid a player too much, and probably before.
August 14th, 2009 @ 5:36 pm
blue moon rising
did preston want moyes to leave did wolves want to sell lescott etc etc unless they came through the youth set up you bought them its the way of life at least city try to deal discretly its moyes who makes it all public , how long would moyes be at everton if manure came calling when baconface retires …..hypocritic dick head

Hmmm… I actually think Man City are the team to look out for this season! Top four? distinct possibility. The league crown? Hmmm… well if they cant achieve it, they certainly might have a say in who ends up winning. Exciting stuff
