Why do people like you bother to do this to yourselves. This whole crystal ball thing that you masochistically indulge in all the time makes you look dumb. Forget the predictions. You're only hoping to add to your credibility by making them in the first place. The other side of that is that you loose it when reality bites. Not very intelligent at all is it?

GOD AM I ANNOYED!

We win 6-1 at a top 6 side. They don;t actually get a look in until we're 5/6 up and we get virtually ignored by the mainstream media. Even certain cretionous Arsenal fan sites put thw destruction of Everton down to a certain unsettled defender.

I'm on the verge of losing it big time.

If ManUre, redScouse, Chavski or even manCiteh had done the same, we'd have still been seeing the goals and how they are clearly the team to beat this year. We on the other hand are told well it's all down to Lescott unsettling a whole team! AAAAARRRRGGGHHHHHH

It is rather early to predict the outcome of the league, but judging from what i saw against everton, we have the same chances as the other so called "big three". Having said that, i am worried about our depth and concerned that if we get hit by injuries, we may falter yet again. Two or three solid additions in defense and an all and all attacker will not do us any harm, considering Europe, carling cup and the Challenge Cup. But I want those critics to continue to write us off. I do not have any expectations from the gunners, just enough to shut up the critics, thats all i ask!

Arsenals team have matured over the summer, it was only going to be a matter of time before Denilson, Bendtner, Song and co matured. Gallas and Vermalen look like a solid partnership, Clichy and Sagna are the best 2 Full backs in the league. Fabregas will soon be mentioned in the same breath as Ronaldo, Zidane, Ronaldinho, Kaka, Xavi & iniesta, he is world class no doubt! Denilson held possession well on the weekend, Van persie was the best player in the premier league for spells last season. Almunia looked commanding, its all coming together in highbury, the champions league may be a little far fetched but i believe the title is within grasp even with 37 games to play, on the weekend, chelsea, liverpool and man u would have struggled and been beaten by arsenal, the only team i can see that could currently tame the gunners would be barca!

Man Utd are 100% not gonna be the team they have been the last 2 years. There is no way that any team can sell the best player on the planet and be as good as they were when he was firing in 25 - 40 goals per season. The fact that ronaldo's contribution from the wing was so great, it took pressure off the central attacking midfielders (scholes, carrick , anderson) and the strikers. Man utd havent got that luxury this season, i'd be surprised if carrick, rooney, berbatov, nani and valencia get 40+ goals between them this season. Scholes, Nevile and Giggs are past the age of being able to compete at this level week in week out, they will struggle terribly to get more than a handfull of top class performances out of these players, they need to buy a creative midfielder who can compete asap!

liverpool looked poor, i've always thought benitez isn't good enough to lift the title. selling alonso was a mistake, no one to create in the centre of the park, Gerrard looked his usual busy self but they may find themselves having to rebuild their team now. Charrager has never been good enough, always half a yard off the pace, dragging down strikers giving away stupid freekicks in dangerous areas and i think you'l see that even more as the season go's on, but he's un-droppable in the fans and managers eyes, that fact will cost them dearly in crucial situations this season. Rafa might find himself the first manager to be sacked this season as a result.

Don't worry mate your just another "expert" in the wrong field. How can anyone believe that a team like liverpool who haven't bought in anyone decent over the summer, lost one of their best players and rely on two players to perform have any chance. Arsenal on the other hand have an ever improving squad, got rid of the the trouble maker and the weak link in defence and replaced him whilst managing to (hopefully) get two great players back to fitness. We are the only summer improvers, the rest went backwards. Chelsea are old, United look thin on the ground without Tevez and Ronaldo and a couple of injuries. Anyway, last season arsenal where good for the second half no we are better, no chance of getting less that 4th. Face it pundits know nothing, no one sings arsenal's praise, even on match of the day, they more or less put the result down to everton, meanwhile they excused the other top four's poor performances down to first match issues.
