True… the Man United squad suddenly looks a lot less threatening with the departure of Ronaldo. It wasn’t just he goals… but how he scored them and in what manner and under what circumstances. His runs opened up spaces for the forwards; and he was a menace from dead-ball situations.

Surely all that will be missed.

United will miss no player. For a player cant make a team. The only problem in united’s squad is the present of Michel Owen. He is minus two in the pitch

I know that united are notorious slow starters, but united were toothless tonight!

The problem here is that if rooney gets injured we are going to be in big bover!!!!!

Owen looks a shadow of the player he once was, and when you look at the backup strikers we only have inexperienced youngsters to call upon.

The midfield didn’t turn up!! I’d release Owen to the Tatton Arms.

SAF should spend some of the £80M on a midfield-general and a decent striker.

Surely I’d missed Ronaldo in United’s lineup. The way United have played today was worse off than Burnley and as much as I support united, in my opinion, United deserved to lose especially with the chances made yet never capitalized!
