No more arrivals at Stamford Bridge this summer

Chelsea boss Carlo Ancelotti has today stated that he won’t be signing any more players before the transfer window shuts next week because he doesn’t need anyone.
The Premier League giants have been heavily linked with a moves for some of Europe’s top strikers, including Sergio Aguero and Alexandre Pato, however Ancelotti has told poured cold water on the rumours. Speaking today, the Italian had this to say :
“The book is closed. We have to wait one week for the end of the window, but the book is closed now. When I arrived in Chelsea we worked together and we took a decision together. We are not interested in players because we always thought we had a very good team.”
I would tend to agree with Ancelotti. Chelsea have a very good team and it would be a massive shock if they weren’t in the hunt for the title come the end of May. I must admit, before the season started, I really felt that Chelsea needed a new frontman, however the early season form of Didier Drogba has made me change my mind. What do you think? Are Chelsea ok as they are? Comments below please.

I think Chelsea are ok with the new formation, but still they need to spend more hours on the training ground. [Carlo] Ancelotti uses 2 strategies/formation; [4-4-2] diamond shaped and [4-3-2-1]. So hopefully soon, the players will get used to that.

The combination of Drogba and Anelka plus the potential threat of Sheva seems enough to instill fear in the heart of any defence but it must be considered that the African nations cup is just around the corner which means the Drog as well as Kalou would be missing in action .An extra striker would be a bonus if we are to sustain a solid challenge to wrestle the title back to the bridge.
