Who needs Adebayor when you have this man

Posted by Cathal Breathnach on August 22, 2009 | 2 Comments

I, along with many others, thought Arsenal may struggle for goals without Emmanuel Adebayor but how wrong was I.

In two Premier League games this season, Arsene Wenger’s men have scored an impressive 10 goals.

Today’s 4-1 win at home to Portsmouth may not have been a surprise, however the goalscorers were. A certain Vaasiriki Diaby (I probably spelt that wrong) got on the scoresheet twice for the Gunners. His first goal was Adebayoresque. A stunning finish from the edge of the Portsmouth box.

With over a week of the summer transfer window still remaining, do you think Arsenal need to go out and buy a new striker or are they ok as it is? Comments below please.

Well, it was a surprise for me as well. Diaby was playing brilliant. Every gunner player seem to like to score a goal.

WE WILL MISS ADEBAYOR AT SUM POINT THIS SEASON. HE WILL BE A CONSISTANT GOAL SCORER ALL THROUGH THE SEASON, SOMTHING THAT R STRIKERS WNT DO.
