Wayne Rooney has a tantrum …. so what’s all the fuss about?
Posted by Cathal Breathnach on September 16, 2009 | 1 Comment
Why everyone has decided to make such a big deal out of Wayne Rooney’s tantrum last night is just beyond me.
The Manchester United striker was clearly upset after Sir Alex Ferguson decided to take him off just after the hour mark in last night’s 1-0 victory over Besiktas.
We all know that Rooney can sometimes get angry so what’s wrong with that?
He was clearly angry that he was taken off last night because he is a footballer who just wants to play as much as he can. Without that fiery temper, I don’t think Rooney would be the same player.
All today’s papers and football blogs have decided to make a big deal out of nothing and it really does annoy me.
What do you think? Comments below please.

Yeah, mate, I hear ya. I wrote an article about this as well – it’s just Rooney being Rooney – that’s what the man is all about!
