He has to learn how to manage the big money egos, a large squad of players chomping at the bit, the fans and media, all in a short space of time - he needs time to get it right, as do the players need time to gel. It is far too early in the "project" to judge the manager or the players, all we can do is try to see the potential, and look for small improvements when they present themselves. Sure we could get a big name manager in and gamble they know what they're doing, but that hasn't exactly worked for Chelsea has it? Mourinho knows how to win trophies, but he got sacked because his team was very boring to watch, nowhere near as exciting as Manu and Barcelona, and I for one don't want to see City playing that kind of cynical football just to win some cups, especially when it looks like Hughsey wants to play open, attacking football.
