Totally agree he should be shown the door before he wastes anymore money . The complete team dont want to win by anymore than one goal . Once they go one infront they seem to stop .Lets be honest his team selection this last month has been shit MP was the player of the month and he still wont play him from the start ever likely he just wants to score and not pass in his ten minute spells MH OUT NOW I say .

Cannot understand why Petrov was not in the starting eleven - Micah Richards would not have made any difference at all bur I agree that Mark Hughes should be replaced sooner rather than later.

I agree that we are looking like we did last season. Where's the passing and holding the ball ...ie the football...that Scen Erikkson instilled and has been vacant ever since Hughes started coaching them. If this guy was managing Chelski he would be out on his a*** and a new guy in by next week.
From a life long city fan.

Your article is very "black and white" in that you suggest Mark Hughes is unable to manage Man City now or ever - has it ever occured to you he is on a massive learning curve himself, how many other managers have had the chance to build a world class team from almost scratch?
He has to learn how to manage the big money egos, a large squad of players chomping at the bit, the fans and media, all in a short space of time - he needs time to get it right, as do the players need time to gel.
It is far too early in the "project" to judge the manager or the players, all we can do is try to see the potential, and look for small improvements when they present themselves.
Sure we could get a big name manager in and gamble they know what they're doing, but that hasn't exactly worked for Chelsea has it?
Mourinho knows how to win trophies, but he got sacked because his team was very boring to watch, nowhere near as exciting as Manu and Barcelona, and I for one don't want to see City playing that kind of cynical football just to win some cups, especially when it looks like Hughsey wants to play open, attacking football.
I actually would like to see Kevin Keegan back, just to see how he'd spend the money!
I loved his brand of crazy footy, never a dull moment!

MH skould have brought on De Jong after taking the lead.
Worse is that City do not look comfortable on the ball. The link-up play is missing and most players just want ball played to feet, meaning there is not enough movement in front of the man on the ball. This makes thme easy to read.
Defensively we look lost at set-pieces and man-marking is terrible.
Tonight Lescott is really to blame for all 3 goals.
Stupid handball (no place for hands above head), then playing two onside on his own before being passed by the scorer coming well from behind (not even trying to run in).
Even Dunnie at his worst could'nt manage all three in one game.
