Chelsea are Champions already

I know some Arsenal and Manchester United fans may have something to say about that, but I firmly believe it, Chelsea are Premier League Champions already.
Today’s 1-0 victory over Manchester United sees Carlo Ancelotti’s men move five points clear at the top of the table and in my view, they look unstoppable this season. With just twelve games gone, it may seem a bit premature, however I, along with most bookmakers, think it’s over.
Chelsea are now odds on to win the league with every major bookmaker, with both Arsenal and United back at 10/3 joint second favourites. So, what do you think? Are Chelsea Champions already? Comments below please.

Absolute poxy luck, EXTREMELY undeserved win. Outplayed in every position of the pitch. Terrible refereeing decision.

Africa cup of nations and arthritis in the later months will ruin them!

Unbelievable refereeing decisions today – Chelsea showed how rubbish they were too. United should have had 2 clear penalties + John Terry, Didier Drogba Michael Ballack + Ivanovic should have all been sent-off + How did the blues goal stand? Fletcher clearly got the ball = no free-kick, Drogba wrestled Brown to the ground + offside! + John Terry took hold off Jonny Evans shirt while headering the goal! Unbelievable!
Chelsea = Crappy Cheaters…
Either United or Arsenal will win the League not Chelski !

Arsenal have the highest goal average and best goal difference in Europe.
November 8th, 2009 @ 9:46 pm
Yes they look unstoppable…..nearly as unstoppable as Arsenal…..The title is handed out in May…not November….Moron !

lets see what happen when chelsea meet arsenal. don’t write off man utd. they played all the big teams, now they will have a run of games against weaker teams, so man utd could easily get back in front of arsenal and chelsea if both of them drop points in the next few games.

Fat chance you have! By the end of this month, Chelsea will be knocked off the top of the table.Mark my words. Then, there is the period in January/February, when you lose the influential African players to the ACN; then, the age of your 30 somethings will start to catch up with you, towards the business end of the season. 3rd position is Chelsea’s best bet, in my opinion. ManU cannot be ruled out yet; neither can Liverpool.
November 8th, 2009 @ 10:26 pm
All 3 teams will be within touching distance of each other come April; and with 6 games to go Arsenal will pip Chelsea.

I cant believe these chelsea pricks saying we have already won it. The only competetive team you have played this season was man u and you only won that because you had 12 men on the pitch. Your not always going to be this lucky. It will go and evetually you will have to play good team and eventually Loose. Gunners 4 the title this season.

[...] receiving a ton of abuse earlier for saying that Chelsea are already Champions, I have decided to ask you, the reader, what about Arsenal for the Premier League [...]

ohhhh good one!! 11-12 games in & they reckon theyve won it?? They actually have more chance of winning the hawaian hula hoop championship than the premiership!!! You watch and see the Arsenal win it as they WILL be the winners this year!!!
November 8th, 2009 @ 11:55 pm
yes
ur right
lets stop the league and hand them the trophy right away

It is a long season with at least 25 games to go for each team. May the best team claim the prize next May with as little controversy involved as possible.

November 9th, 2009 @ 5:38 am
Fully agree with MRDJ. Chelsea cheaters they won because of bad bad refereeing. Review the game and u can will see it was unfair to MAN U. I am not a MAN U fan by the way. Chelsea win the premier league? It is too premature to say. Any top three could win it. Liverpool too could do ot.
