Perhaps the Premier League isn’t a one horse race after all

Two horse raceI’ll be the first to admit it. Three weeks ago I thought the Premier League was going to be a one horse race, with Carlo Ancelotti’s Chelsea looking unstoppable, however after today’s result I am beginning to wonder what was I thinking.

David Moyes’ Everton twice came from behind to earn a point at Stamford Bridge this afternoon raising question marks over Chelsea’s title ambitions. They remain favourites to lift the trophy come the end of May, however should Manchester United beat Aston Villa in Saturday’s late kick-off, the bookies will no doubt be altering their odds.

Once again today, Chelsea keeper Peter Cech was at fault for a goal or two. It was the same last weekend. The Czech Republic international probably should have saved Carlos Tevez’ winner for Manchester City last Saturday, however it wasn’t to be and now Chelsea find themselves under increasing pressure.

They face Portsmouth at home on Wednesday night which should be an easy three points, however the way they are playing at the moment, you just never know.

What do you think? Is the Premier League now a two horse race, or maybe even a three horse race? Comments below please.
