Sacking Benitez is the only option for Liverpool

After yet another defeat, this time at the hands of Arsenal, surely the sack looms for Benitez.
In my opinion, Liverpool will struggle to finish in the top four if they stick with Rafa any longer and the only option now is to sack the Spaniard.
What do you think? Comments below please.

I think the trouble with Livepool is that they seem to have a mixture of fantastic world class players and some desperatley ordinary players too. Look at their squad and it is riddled with players who wouldnt get near Chelsea, Utd, Arsenal, Villa and even Man Citys side.

While Rafa isn’t doing quite enough, where exactly will Liverpool find the money to see out Rafa’s contract and create a new contract for a new manager. Unless you all want to see Sammie Lee coaching at Anfield, I think Rafa is the only feasible option.

Some Liverpool fans would argue his Champions League success and finishing 2nd in the Premier League last season (let’s remember Liverpool have never won the Premier League and his Liverpool side gained more points than any other last season). But he has signed some very dodgy players, including Andrea Dossena, Andriy Voronin and Josemi that no other Prem team will touch! And let’s not forget about the money wasted on Jermaine Pennant!
I agree it is time for him to go now. The team aren’t giving it their all this season, whether that is down to the manager or the hangover of last season’s disappointment, I don’t know. As for sacking him, yes it will cost a lot of money to pay off his contract, but that could be saved by bringing in a manager to qualify for the Champions League. At this rate, Liverpool aren’t going to qualify for the Champions League.
I’m not a big fan of his tactics either. But for their successful Champions League final, when was the last time he made a tactical substitution before the hour mark?? And recently his subsitutions have included dropping Yossi Benayoun who is one of their few in-form players! Time for someone new to come in…
