Another player leaves Anfield – Time for Rafa to start signing some players

Andriy Voronin became the second player to leave Liverpool this month after he agreed to join Russian giants Dinamo Moscow earlier today. His departure comes just days after Andrea Dossena left the club to join Italian side Napoli.
I think it’s fair to say that Liverpool fans won’t exactly be crying over the departures of Voronin and Dossena, however I am sure they will be concerned at the fact that Rafa Benitez has yet to add to his squad during the January window.
Atletico Madrid winger Maxi Rodriguez has been strongly linked with a move to Merseyside, however for whatever reasons, the move has yet to happen. There was talk on Friday that the move was imminent but as of now, the move has yet to be sealed, something which will no doubt, worry Benitez.
Other names who continue to be linked with moves to Liverpool are Marouane Chamakh of Bordeaux and former Manchester United striker Ruud Van Nistelrooy. Both are seen as potential strike partners for Liverpool’s top scorer this season, Fernando Torres.
Although I am not a Liverpool fan, I really do hope they add to their squad sooner rather than later because if they fail to bring in anyone over the next three weeks, I personally can’t see them getting anywhere near that 4th spot come the end of the season.
I am keen to hear what you have to say on this one. Comments below please.

Maxi seems good but a strike partner with torres is important but not Nan Nistelroy he’s not good enough as before I prefer Carew

WE HAVE NO MONEY
We sold more than we bought last transfer window and the same this one.
Our american custodians are ruining the club. Football in general is screwed.

If liverpool won’t reach the fourth place for the champions league they want sell torres or gerrard,it is better we get rid of the yanks because these people are there for there money only not for the sake of the team.

I think a lot of our supporters need to take their head out of the sand and realise the club is fucked with these Americans in ownership.
You will receive a wake up call when we see 2 of these 3 players leave this summer: Gerrard, Mascherano or Torres
Open your eyes we haven’t a pot to piss in.

if the Americans would give Rafa some money, we would be able to do some spending. but they won’t get their head out their arses and realise that the club is in need for funds to recruit some fresh faces. the 1.5 mill in the Maxi Rodrigues deal is said to be a signing-on-fee, and that atletico will not receive any funds (making the deal a free-transfer.) but can’t really see how LFC will be able to even pay his signing-on-fee when we don’t have any f…..g money!

i think its about time fans stop putting all the blame on the owners, it does NO good just creates turmoil. We should get behind the owners and Manager and support the team.
Maxi move was held up by weather. Striker partner is a necessity. There were rumours about Roman Pavluchenko who i though should’ve been a summer signing. I really like the guy, hasn’t settled at spurs but neither did Javier settled at west ham

Please please please get the yanks out of liverpool. They r here 4 the money, we need some finances quick and fast. We need what city have

I THINK GERRARD AND FERNANDO TORRES SHOULD NOT LEAVE THE CLUB IN SUMMER. THEY ARE MAIN PLAYERS OF LIVERPOOL.HICKS AND GILLET SHOULD BE KICKED OUT.I WANT THE SIGNING OF RODRIGUEZ.
EVEN LUCAS MUST BE SACKED. NOT SCORED A SINGLE GOAL FOR LIVERPOOL.ALSO TAKE FOWLER AND RUDD VAN NISTEL ROOY. NOW THE LIVERFOOL FAITH LIES ON THE MANAGR AND THE OWNERS WHAT TO DO.LIVERPPOL IS ONE THE BEST CLUB IN EUROPE. IT IS BETTER THAT AMERICAN OWNERS GIVE SOME MONEY TO BUY PLAYERS AND MAKE LIVERPOOL A BETTER CLUB AND ITS FUTURE BRIGHT.

i love liverpool fc we need too sign some players that wants to play for the club,we need a central defender that can score goal ,a world class winger that can take over games at anytime and a tall target man that can score goal with there head and hold up play

Wake up and smell the coffee Dipen, you’re living in cloud cuckoo land!
Look, Hicks and Gillett are a total disaster, we all know that. But ‘they should be kicked out’ how exactly? THEY OWN THE CLUB! There is nobody with the power to kick them out, not even a mulit-billionaire can do that unless they want to go!
Try living in the real world. We need to let these two muppets know consistently just how much they are resented by the real fans until they get the message they are not wanted. If they are thick-skinned, we are stuck with them whether we like it or not.

looking like another disappointin Transfer Window. the only glimpse of signing a player is Rodriguez, who whilst good and can score a few, is not going to change too much on his own in the team as it is. They need another Striker/goal scorer drastically.
Arda Turan (who can score goals) has stated he would love to play for the club – do we sign him, make an attempt to sign him = No.
Chamakh in last 6 months of contract could probably be got on the cheap now (rather than nothing in the summer)
The club is going downhill, and fast.
The Yanks are screwing the club for every penny they can. the sooner they go the better.
