Top Four Pretenders Struggling Under Pressure And Liverpool Now Looking Likely For Fourth

It seems that the sides chasing a Champions League spot from the coveted fourth place in the Premiership are doing their best to throw it away, last weekend all four sides in with a shout, Man City, Spurs, Liverpool and Aston Villa all failed to win. Then on Wednesday both Spurs and Liverpool were fairly unimpressive in Liverpool’s 2-0 win.

That victory for Liverpool puts them just one point away from fourth place and although the press would have you think differently, they are one of the form teams in the Premiership at the moment, gaining one more point than Chelsea in their last six games.

This means it is the shrewd Football Tipsters who are backing Liverpool to grab fourth spot whilst the Bookmakers still think Man City will gain a Champions League place this season despite Roberto Mancini’s side failing on their first real test against Everton.

Spurs are now third most likely of the chasing pack to finish in the top four whilst Aston Villa are slightly less likely than the Londoners. Despite Birmingham performing miracles this season the bookies think they have no chance of making the top four, they may only be five points away but they are 66/1 with the bookies.
