Same Old Story for Liverpool

Wolves 0-0 Liverpool.
Yet another poor result for Rafa Benitez’ men which sees them fall three points behind Tottenham in the race for that final Champions League spot.
I am sure all you Liverpool fans won’t be best pleased with tonight’s results, so why not have your say in the comments section below.

This has got to be the end. I mean it seems that Americans have no sense for football at all. Everyone except the Yankees and some dedicated koppers have seen the same thing from Liverpool for 4 years now. There is nothing happening there, nothing at all. It is the same thing over and over again. This manager has one way of building a team and all the other teams have learned the way Benitez manages a team and how he sets up the game a long time ago. It is based on ball possession, work rate and occasional good statistics, depending on which is Benitez favorite player each season. But the lack of strategy, technic and skills is so sad not to be seen. We need a game plan, a new manager, a new style of playing and more ways of playing football. Goodbye Raphael. You did good with Houlliers boys back in 2005, but since than you have been running in circles in the same hamster wheel.

Easy target – really need to be more creative. The good (not great) record of the last 5 years deserves a break when the going gets tough. Worth remembering that last season Liverpool gained more points than any team that has not won the title in EPL history.
