"Rome wasn't built in a day. But I wasn't on that particular job." – Brian Clough

Is this the weekend in which the Premier League becomes a 2 horse race?

Sunday’s game at Stamford Bridge is bound to have a massive bearing on where the Premier League trophy will be come the end of May.

Top of the table Chelsea host Arsenal in what has been dubbed a must-win game for Arsene Wenger’s men.

As it stands, Arsenal sit just 6 points behind Carlo Ancelotti’s Chelsea, however defeat on Sunday will put an end to the Gunners title challenge in the view of many so called experts.

If the side’s meeting at the Emirates earlier this season is anything to go by, this should be pretty comfortable for Chelsea. The Blues won the game 3-0 and in truth, they may have won by a greater margin on a different day.

The majority of bookies have Chelsea as odds-on favourites to claim all three points on Sunday and to be perfectly honest, I can’t see Arsenal leaving Stamford Bridge with anything.

Manchester United will obviously pick up three easy points at home to Portsmouth on Saturday so in my view, by Sunday evening, the top three should look like this :

  1. Chelsea – 58 points
  2. Manchester United – 56 points
  3. Arsenal – 49 points
