No 2 goalkeepers are the same and rather than him being a bad goalkeeper, it is more his style of goalkeeping that not everyone would agree with. This style may mean that he does n't come for as many crosses as other goalkeepers however he brings other strengths to the table. His shot stopping, his experience and his unquestionable professionalism. No goalkeeper is perfect and in my opinion he ranks favourably when compared with the likes of Reina, Victor Valdes or the vastly overrated Iker Casillas (Is this just me?). At least Cathal raises the question of Given and while I don't agree its good to see. Given is fast becoming a liability. Worst keeper we've ever had at collecting crosses, doesn't speak to his defence at all and generally just looking like an awful signing.
