Arsenal V Liverpool – Predictions

Tonight’s game at the Emirates will no doubt play a major part in where both Arsenal and Liverpool finish this season.
Arsenal go into the game on the back of defeats to both Manchester United and Chelsea and Arsene Wenger knows that this is a must win game. Meanwhile, Liverpool haven’t lost in their last 8 Premier League games and a win for Rafa Benitez’ men will put them within two points of tonight’s opponents.
Earlier this season, Arsenal beat Liverpool 2-1 at Anfield and the bookies make them an evens favourites for tonight’s encounter.
It will certainly be an intriguing match, however I can honestly see Arsenal winning this quite comfortably. My prediction : Arsenal 3-0 Liverpool.

I tend to agree with Rafa that our game plan tonight must be first to defend and soak in pressure from the supposedly “wounded’ Arsenal forwards and midfields, then go on the counter as and when an opportunity presents itself. We can do this as we have proven with Everton who were really eager to cause more confusion within our 18 yards box and hope that like the past TC would pounce and score. My prediction for the game is 2-1 in favour of Reds with second goal being scored much later in the game !! Watch Riera and Babel

Depends which Arsenal and which Liverpool team show up. Both are more than capable of beating anyone on their day. Full respect to Arsenal, I wish you all the best for the rest of the season, but not today =)

I think liverpool is gonna sit back and play safe .. they might go on a counter or look for a break through in SET-pieces .. Arsenal is going to fire all its guns.. high level football.. i think liverpool defense is much more stable with carra playing at RB. so my prediction is liv 1 ars 0
