City are weak in the midfield, particularly a dominant playmaker. Mancini wanted midfield players, but the incompetence of Marwood meant City lost a chance to get two excellent players for Mancini in January. The result is the team really doesn't have any improved bite in the midfield and so there's no improvement, rather things are going downhill as the players tire towards the end of the season. The real problem is not Mancini; it's the incompetents that didn't get him the players he wanted.

It's Hughes's squad Mancini is playin with. I think he wouldn't have signed Roque Santa Cruz or Lescott or Bejani etc. Next summer, if mancini is still in charge, I'd say there will be a huge clearout with ablout 8 or 9 players leavin and they buy 6 or 7 . They also have a few players out on loan who will probably feature under mancini's system. Mancini likes good with with fast players on the wing with a big target man in the middle. Caicedo ,Jo ,Weiss , Mcgivern and maybe Hart will all might feature . Next year 4th minimum is acceptable . I think the new players will need a year to gel before they can go for the league and maybe sign another 1 or 2. Mancini is a far better manager than Hughes though

Do not lose faith my friend.

I agree these DISMAL performances to Stoke City this past week has dealt a blow, but nevertheless, Drawing against an almost full strength-Liverpool side without our top scorer and basically only one attacking option is impressive. I highly doubt the Hughes Man City coulda pulled that result off against 'Pool.

I think Mancini is an excellent, professional manager, who time and time again has reassured (via the Official Site) that there is no locker room talks (news published similar rubbish under Hughes). These things only arise due to the language-barrier, because in Pressers Mancini must often answer the best he can, so when people talk about arguments with Bellamy they were only discussions. Even Barry has gone on record saying there is no trouble. And Ireland is just pleased he is being played in the "right position" (although his form had been dipping).

I think it would be a HUGE MISTAKE to let Mancini go, whether we finish fourth or not, so we can let him have a chance during the transfer window. He still has connections with Inter players so that could mean the likes of Balotelli wearing the City shirt.
