Rooney out for 2-4 weeks – Time to get your money on Chelsea

It looks as though Wayne Rooney will be out of action for 2-4 weeks as a result of the injury he sustained during Manchester United’s 2-1 defeat against Bayern Munich last night.
The England striker left the Allianz Arena on crutches after last night’s game with a suspected sprained ankle. It was announced earlier today that Rooney had, in fact, sprained his right ankle and will now miss a chunk of United’s run-in.
Sir Alex Ferguson’s men have one of their biggest games of the season this Saturday, when Chelsea travel to Old Trafford and personally, I think Carlo Ancelotti’s men now have a cracking chance of not only winning this weekend’s game, but also winning the Premier League title.
With just 6 games to go now, United are just a point ahead of Chelsea and I feel, without Rooney, United are going to struggle big time. Chelsea are best-priced 15/8 to win Saturday’s game and are now into 11/8 with most bookies to go on and win the title now.
I really can’t see United winning on Saturday without Rooney. Ferguson will no doubt play Berbatov against Chelsea and personally, I don’t think he is capable of filling the void Rooney leaves. I am very keen to hear what you have to say on this one. Comments below please.
