With every passing minute it looks more and more likely that Cesc Fabregas will indeed by leaving Arsenal this summer to join the club where it all began for him, Barcelona.
The Spanish midfielder is understood to have informed Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger that he wants to leave the club and there is now talk that a deal could be complete some time next week.
Fabregas, 23, has spent nearly 7 years with Arsenal making over 250 appearances for the Gunners in the process. Arsenal fans will no doubt be sad to see Fabregas leave the club simply because he has been the clubs best player for the past three or four years.

I thought he would stay for atleast another 2 seasons, as barcelona don’t actually need him untill Xavi gets best his best. But from what i haev ead, he did meet Wenger and he had already said to the press “i want my future sorting out before the world cup” if there was no desire to leave then why would his future need to be decided? the odds of him staying at Arsenal look very slim, but just think of the team Barcelona will have next season
