The Manchester United fans look pleased as Ferguson reveals : Berbatov is staying

“No, no, definitely not. He is a fantastic footballer and he will be with us next year.”
They were the words of Sir Alex Ferguson after the Manchester United boss was asked if he was looking to sell Dimitar Berbatov, whom he spent over £30 million on nearly two years ago, this summer.
The United faithful, who look delighted with the news in the picture, have called Berbatov many things this season including “lazy, shit, waste of money, not fit to wear the shirt, clown, bad player, Berbasauras-rex etc;”.
Many criticised the Bulgarian last season but personally, I thought he was amazing. He scored 12 incredible goals in the season, I lost track of the amount of assists he provided and was an all-round menace to the opposition defences in the Premier League.
Berbatov is still only 29 so he is still very young and I for one believe his best years at Old Trafford are most definitely ahead of him.

you must be joking? I don’t know of a single Utd fan that thinks he’s worth warming the bench not to mention playing!
He is a good player, but isn’t suited to the current Utd team and the way we play, not to mention that the players obviously don’t like the 40 a-day waste of money

SAF must really have his hands tied up. We have no chance whatsoever to fight on all fronts with this squad. The new signigs were good but for next season we needed a high profile midfielder a really good atacker and a solid goalkeeper.
What we got are a lot of young promising players but nothing else. I think that we are seeing the end of an era and it will be quite a long time before we get back to the top remember Liverpool?

calm down guys. as much as some of you struggle to comprehend this fact, it is true, SAF knows best and the day that any of us know better will never arrive so get the fcuk behind him and the team and enjoy the ride while it lasts!

I Think Fergie is too stubborn to sell him because that like him sayin i know it was a bad buy. As a united fan i dont really like him but i dont think any big offers are goin to come in for him so we would be better of kepping him in the squad at least

As a staunch fan of man u, i think for us to compete squarely with top clubs in england and europe next season saf should sign atleast a high profile striker to compliment rooney’s effort.

right, seriously. i would honestly swap berba and a couple of million for emile heskey. thats how shit this guy is. if i was berbatov i would literally kill myself as an unselfish act. he is a cancer, he has attached himself to man u and is giving them cancer too. i know you’ll disagree with me, but i genuinely believe that i am a better striker than this guy. i just dont get it. its so fucking simple. hang around the fucking box. when you get the ball, drop a shoulder and create a little bit of space. and then pop a fucking shot off. you dont even have to aim for a corner just aim for the fucking middle, at least it will go on target, and you never know. it will boost your confidence anyway. for fuck sake die please. fucking retire.
