Arsenal agree Joe Cole deal?

Arsenal have, according to reports, agreed a deal to bring Chelsea midfielder Joe Cole to the Emirates stadium with the England international reported to have agreed a three-year deal at the club.
Cole has been linked with several clubs in recent weeks including the likes of Manchester United and Manchester City. However, if you believe the rumours, the former West Ham man will be wearing the red and white of Arsenal next season.
Cole is unlikely to be a Chelsea player next season with his contract due to run out in the coming weeks at Stamford Bridge. Chelsea boss Carlo Ancelotti has always said he believes Cole will remain at the club but it now looks increasingly unlikely that this will be the case.
The 28-year old was recently included in Fabio Capello’s 23-man England squad for this summer’s World Cup in South Africa and is considered by many, including myself, as one of the most naturally gifted players in the Premier League.
Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp, who was also reported to be interested in Cole, said yesterday that he believed Cole had already agreed a deal to leave Chelsea this summer but he wasn’t going to be heading for White Hart Lane.
Personally, I think this would be an incredible signing for Arsenal. There is no doubt that Arsene Wenger needs to add some quality to his side during this summer’s transfer window if the Gunners are to be serious title contenders next season and if Cole has in fact agreed a deal to join the club, then it’s a terrific start for Wenger.

I think that Cole would be a great signing for us. Cant wait to see if he’ll be playing in he red and white next year.
