i want Martin O’Neill for Liverpool..he seems the right man for me,knows a lot about english football..king kenny and guss hiddink would be also VERY good solutions..but i dont want Roy Hodgson..if the owners sell the club, then we’ll be way better.sacking rafa was the first thing that had to be done..next owners.we must start being stable getting money and trophies

benitez had to go, he had lost the dressing room. after forcing out alonso last year, and with pennant, voronin and riera all making claims about benitez’s management style, then benayoun and probably gerrard about to leave the club if benitez stayed. He had to go
Hiddink is a good choice to take over, or king kenny, make keegan manager and we might not win the league, but we’d fill an 80,000 stadium every week and be entertained

How Benitez has been sacked is beyond me. A world class with a proven record, a EUROPEAN CUP winner, and a man who has run the club on a shoe-string budget is being kicked out by the unacceptable board in place.
Cathal you are a mug, why not write an article that draws attention to the dirty Yanks ruining the club, you two bit hack. Pathetic Journalist, I hope you answer this you disgrace.

Good man Tom K. Blaming the Yanks like all great Liverpool fans. They get blamed for everything yet it is Benitez who has fucked Liverpool up of late.
He was given money to spend on a midfielder last summer and he bought Alberto Aquilani. Great signing he was, eh?
You call him world class even though he managed to finish 7th last season with a side which includes two of the best players in the world in the form of Gerrard and Torres.
He is a poor manager and Gerrard and Torres know that and I personally believe Liverpool will be far better without him.
Do yourself a favour mate and jog on.
