Tottenham ready to make one last attempt to try and sign Arsenal target

The papers claim that Tottenham will make one last bid to try and sign Joe Cole, who is strongly fancied to join Arsenal in the coming days.
Cole, 28, recently left Chelsea following months of contract talks. However, the England international failed to negotiate a new deal at Stamford Bridge and as a result is now in search of new employers.
Dozens of clubs have been linked with Cole’s name in recent weeks but due to the World Cup, nothing has yet materialised. Arsenal are considered the favourites to secure Cole’s services but Spurs boss Harry Redknapp, who managed Cole during their days at West Ham, remains hopeful of bringing the player to White Hart Lane.
Cole is a player who I rate very highly and whoever does eventually sign him will be getting a cracking deal. He still has quite a number of years left in him and wherever he does end up, I believe he will be a huge success.
Where do you think Cole will be playing his football next season? Feel free to leave your comments below.

Don’t need him anyway. Modric and kranjcar are better. He’ll be in the same position as he was at Chelsea. Bench warmer. If he joins the French B team he’ll replace fabregas.
