Arsenal, Liverpool and Tottenham all chase the same England midfielder and it’s not Jole Cole

Arsenal, Liverpool and Tottenham are all interested in Manchester City midfielder Shaun Wright-Phillips according to The Sun.
Wright-Phillips, 28, looks set to leave Eastlands this summer following months of negotiatings over the England winger’s contract at the club.
The former Chelsea man struggled to nail down a first team place at City ever since Roberto Mancini arrived back in December of last year and it is now expected that the world’s richest club will accept bids as low as £6 million for him.
Harry Redknapp, Arsene Wenger and Roy Hodgson are all ready to pay the £6 million. However, Wright-Phillips’ hefty wage demands may be the big factor in any potential move.
There is no doubting that Wright-Phillips has plenty of ability but for me, I’m not sure if he would be a starting player in any of the three teams in question. He can run and occasionaly get by players but he has the touch of a brick wall and I for one would be surprised to see him as a regular starter no matter where he is playing next season.
