Chelsea apparently offer Liverpool £30 million for Fernando Torres

Posted by on July 10, 2010 | 18 Comments

The Star has reported that Chelsea have made a bid of £30 million for Liverpool striker Fernando Torres.

First off all, I seriously doubt Chelsea have made an offer for Fernando Torres.

And second of all, if Chelsea have made a bid of £30 million for Fernando Torres, there is absolutely no chance that Liverpool should or in fact will accept the offer simply because Torres is worth double that.

What do you think? £30 million for Torres is surely not enough for Liverpool to accept, is it? Comments below please.

Let’s be honest ‘me’, Torres has had a horrible World Cup but that’s only because the lad is still clearly feeling the effects of the injury which kept him out of the end of last season.

Torres is still, without doubt, one of the best strikers in the world and I honestly believe he is worth £60 million.

torres is always injured, had a terrible world cup, villa cost £30 mil so why should torres be more. There is no way that this bid is as ridiculous as the reported £20 mil city are going to offer us for drogba
