Chelsea defender desperate to join Real Madrid

Chelsea’s Ricardo Carvalho has today admitted that he would love to join Spanish giants Real Madrid.

The Portuguese defender has been linked with a move to the Bernabeu in recent weeks but for whatever reasons, nothing has yet materialised.

Speaking today, the 32-year old had this to say: “If there was a possibility to sign with Real Madrid, I would go there right now swimming or running.”

With Jose Mourinho now in charge at Real Madrid I personally believe there is a strong chance this move will go ahead in the coming days. The pair have already worked together at both Porto and Chelsea so there is no doubt that Mourinho rates Carvalho very highly.

Carvalho missed much of last season through injury and if I was Carlo Ancelotti I would look to get as much money out of him right now because he certainly isn’t getting any younger.

Why not buy yourself some Chelsea tickets right now and if you want to see the Blues in Wembley, you can also get your hands on some Community Shield tickets.
