Liverpool, Tottenham and Manchester United all keen to sign La Liga goal machine

Posted by Cathal Breathnach on July 26, 2010 | 3 Comments

After 15 seasons as a Real Madrid player, Raul has finally left the Bernabeu and it looks as though his future may yet lie in the Premier League.

German side Schalke were understood to be the favourites to sign the 33-year old but Raul has today admitted he may well end up in England.

Speaking earlier today, the Spanish legend had this to say: “I have had very deep discussions with Schalke but there are other teams that are also interested. My future lies in Germany or England.”

Liverpool, Tottenham and Manchester United are all believed to be interested but the real question is, can Raul still cut it at the very highest level. We want to know what you have to say on this one. Please leave your comments below.

You can buy yourself some Manchester United tickets right now and also get your hands on many other football tickets.

You don’t leave the Bernabeu if you can still cut it at the highest level. Maybe if he is cheap an EPL team might get reasonable back up service from him. But otherwise …… give him a wide berth.

Raul is still a world class player. Age really has’nt effected him. I would love to see him up front with Torres and Pacheco could learn so much from him. Mouth watering!
