Xavi reckons Fabregas might leave Arsenal in January

Posted by on August 9, 2010 | 17 Comments

Barcelona midfielder Xavi has today had a few interesting things to say with regards the future of his international team-mate Cesc Fabregas.

After weeks and weeks of speculation, Fabregas committed his future to Arsenal but despite this, Xavi believes the move could go through during the January transfer window.

When asked about Fabregas, Xavi had this to say: “We’ve given up on the idea of him arriving now, but maybe he’ll come in January when Arsenal are out of the Premier League title race. Their team are just not competitive.”

“Arsenal are wrong to have forced him to remain there, they can’t just hold him against his will.”

I’m quite surprised to see Xavi makes these comments. He is one of the best players in world football and in my opinion, he shouldn’t be getting involved in these sort of things. And for him to say Arsenal were wrong to have forced him to remain at the club is just ridiculous. Why should Arsenal have to sell their most prized asset when he still has several years to run on his contract?

I read these quotes the other day.

Xavi like Puyol should deny these comments, as they do not paint him in a good light.

Okay so you have won every major footballing title in the last 3 years. However your comments make you a prick, especially as (we’ve got Cesc Fabregas…we’ve got cesc Fabregas), as we told you last may at the Emirates and just as we will be saying in January you pillock!

Oh yeah by the way could you tell Messi to shut he’s gob too!

All together now…We’ve got Cesc Fabregas…

…Get us a taate lock can

    Yours truly

Xavi is the best midfielder in th e world and can say what he likes. He knows young Cesc will be giving him a break in the smaller games like if we draw somebody like arsenal in champions league, thats why he’s so pissed he’s not coming YET. But there is a deal for him to come and warm the benh for us next season of that you can be sure.

So the chattering barca monkeys are at it yet again? Doesn’t Xavi realise how low barca have sunk in terms of admiration and respect throughout the World, not just Arsenal, Pathetic twat, barca more than a club? more than a joke.

I love Xavi, he is one of the best mid-fielders out there no doubt! However, such a statement and others regarding Cesc he has been lately involved him does not show a good image of him.

I think it shows great disrespect to Arsenal and no player and no one has the right to disrespect another club, especially one of the stature of Arsenal.

I have always seen a humble and straightforward Xavi in interviews and I hope he returns to that Xavi and not stay the current one who comes up with such ridiculous statements! Even if it is true that Arsenal could very well struggle to maintain pace with the other big boys as Man U, Chelsea etc. Still same could be said of any club including Barcelona.

God Xavi is boring. Can he not grasp the point that it is not Cesc’s decision to make & not one that his debt ridden club could become involved with anyway. Barca couldn’t afford Cesc now and they won’t be able to make a sensible offer until next summer (& that assumes they do not choose to prioritise someone else AGAIN!)

[...] Xavi ‘Chattyman’ Hernandez has been up to his usual tricks, suggesting that the Cesc saga could rear its head again just a few months down the line: “We’ve given up on the idea of him arriving now, but maybe he’ll come in January when Arsenal are out of the Premier League title race. Their team are just not competitive.” [...]

That’s what you got when footballers coming out of school too early to play football… they are highly uneducated. They can’t hide that fact whenever they open their mouths.

Fabregas to Barca? Sure. Guess who’s staring place Cesc is supposed to replace in a couple of years’ time? Xavi is no spring chicken. Before long when he’s legs are gone, I wonder if he would regret what he said today.

Well, I am lost for words for this braying of a donkey. If Xavi must bray, then let’s him continue to wear that Mid-Summer Night Dream donkey’s head.

okay he did a stupid statement and most of you hate him but he does have a point it has not been going well for Arsenal lately it was years ago since they won something so it would be wrong to stay there if he could get into a bigger club consideren his carrer as a pro-footballer !

Would Barcelona let Messi Swap with Fabregas ? If they would let Messi go to Arsenal and Fabregas go theere . i doubt it .this is Greed they want to dominate football by taking all Stars.
