Joe Hart or Shay Given?

There has been a lot of talk regarding the goalkeeping situation at Manchester City over the last few weeks but with less than 48 hours to go before the Premier League season kicks-off, we want to know who you think should start on Saturday against Tottenham?
Roberto Mancini will have to make the difficult decision as to who he starts in goal for the game at White Hart Lane. Joe Hart and Shay Given are both desperate to be given the nod by Mancini and it is widely expected that whoever misses out will be on their way out of Eastlands before the transfer window shuts later this month.
In my opinion, Hart is a better all-round keeper and I would be very surprised if he isn’t the one who starts on Saturday for City. Given is, without doubt, one of the best shot stoppers in the Premier League but I personally believe he lacks many of the abilities needed to be a quality keeper.
So who do you think should start and why. Hart or Given? Comments below please.

Hart. Age on his side, quality young stopper!

Given is a great reaction keeper but I believe Hart commands his area and deals with corners more efficiently. Age is also a factor for the future!

Given is a great lad and a fine keeper but Joe Hart is the present and the future for City and England. Capello displayed great ineptitude when he overlooked Joe in South Africa. Mancini must not make the same mistake!
