Over at Premiership Talk, we’re extremely excited about the launch of Premiership Talk Fantasy Football. As part of our launch, we’re delighted to be bringing some fresh fantasy football tips and predictions to the readers of Football Corner. Pit your wits against ten friends or ten strangers for a chance to win cash prizes each and every week.

This weekend, we have three different tips in store for you; one relates to the team you need to keep an eye out for while the other two identify the players that are poised to deliver big time in the fourth round of fixtures.

For starters, don’t even think twice about picking Chelsea striker Didier Drogba. The Ivory Coast international looks to be in better form than last season, if that is even possible. After all, the 32-year old enjoyed the most productive year of his career last season when he won the Golden Boot award to guide Chelsea to a Premier League double.

This season, not only is he the leading scorer in the Premier League with four goals in three outings, but he also leads with the league with three assists.

While Drogba is a reliable offensive option against a struggling West Ham side, it is imperative that from a defensive standpoint, fantasy players must consider Joe Hart as their goalkeeper of choice. Not only has the youngster convinced the likes of Fabio Capello that he is here to stay, but thus far, only a Darren Bent penalty has gone past him in the Citizens’ goal.

Considering that Roberto Mancini’s side will be at home to Blackburn this weekend, expect Sam Allardyce’s defensive-minded side to face all kinds of problems getting past Hart. As the England international racks up the saves, and ultimately earns a very probable clean sheet, your performance as a fantasy player will also improve proportionally as well.

As far as betting on a team is concerned, one dark horse that not many will be picking this weekend is Wigan Athletic. Roberto Martinez may have led his men to a brave away win over Tottenham but that same weekend, Sunderland overcame Manchester City thanks to the aforementioned penalty scored by Darren Bent.

The pundits are poised to favor the Black Cats in this one but remember, this is a Latics side that is returning home with a lot more confidence than they had before the win at White Hart Lane.

If you pick them to win at home, you can win extremely big. In case they let you down, you will likely still get away without any flak because they are barely fancied by anyone to begin with.

With that being said, hurry up and start building YOUR fantasy team any way you like in the Premiership Talk Fantasy Football Challenge. You cannot pick more than two players from any Premier League team but at the same time, there is no restriction on the quality of the player you choose.

Therefore, if you are ready to pick the best of the best, this is the competition you have been waiting for!
