As the UK riots further continue to threaten the start of the Premier League season, I have decided for the next few days, not to predict what games will go ahead (Let us hope this behaviour ends soon and we all see our teams kick off on time) but to examine each team, starting with those i think will finish in may in the bottom five today, midtable tomorrow and Friday, and on Saturday I will reveal my top five and who I think will lift the Premier League trophy come what May. So, Here we go.

Newcastle: The exits of Andy Carroll and Kevin Nolan and the possible departures of Jose Enrique, yet to sign a contract and Joey Barton, told last week after a twitter row he can leave for nothing, all in the matter of 15 months just shows the huge amount of talent ripped from this team. Fans must be questioning Mike Ashley’s plans for the club and have not really accepted Alan Pardrew as a manager just yet, and while the second season syndrome may come into play, the pressure at Newcastle is bigger than anywhere else. The team must get off to a decent start to avoid, with a threadbare squad, a tight relegation fight.
Prediction: 16th

QPR: Neil Warnock will be itching for another crack at the Premier League after going down last time under controversial circumstances with Sheffield United. The acquisitions of Jay Boythroyd and DJ Campbell should bring goals needed to stay up while Player of the season Abel Taraabt looks set to stay. Daniel Gabbidon and Keiron Dyer will bring experience if they can be kept fit. Changes of ownership are set to rock the boat although QPR conceded all of 32 goals in 44 games last season though and if the nucleus of last year can be kept the team should stay up.
Prediction: 17th

Swansea: The first Welsh Premier league side that was deemed the “Barcelona of the Championship” won many plaudits last year for their slick passing and Pace on the flanks, although their faith in their sophisticated passing style will be questioned by fans if early results are poor. After a number of failed bids early in the summer the club have brought in several new faces, time will tell whether Brendan Rogers can work his magic in top flight, however as of yet, the step up to the Premier league is a massive one and the jury is well and truly out.
Prediction: 18th

Blackburn: After surviving on the final day of the season last year, many fans expected owners Venkys to bring in several new faces in order to live up to the Steve Kean’s plan to reach Champions League football “In five years”, however the club have spent just under 3 million for David Goodwillie, and have seen exits of the promising Phil Jones as well as Niko Kalinic and Benjaini, and a bizarre television advert to top it all off. 6 wins in 23 last seasons for Kean makes for bad reading and Ewood Park is a state of disarray to those looking in from the outside. Bleak times lie ahead.
Prediction: 19th
__________________________________________________________________
Norwich: The Canaries face a testing run-in against Tottenham, Man City Liverpool and Arsenal in their last six matches. Team spirit played a major part in their back-to back promotions and Paul Lambert has insisted his team are good enough to stay up. New signing James Vaughan and Elliott Ward will miss the start of the season, and although Steve Morrison may prove a decent target man, it seems Norwich are looking to stay up with a “Championship best X1” and this may be a jump too soon for the club who were relegated to League One just two years ago, a tough season lies ahead.
Prediction: 20th

I agree with you on alot of your views, it looks abit like my prediction actually. But I also think that Bolton and Aston Villa will struggle this season. One thing that makes it hard to predict the tabel at the moment is that its still alot of transfers that will come befor the transfer window close.
Would be cool if you took time to check out my predictions on;
